Weihenstephaner Vitus and Gnocchi. A great pair. The richness of the gnocchi complements the crispness of the Vitus. There are lots of flavors in this brew. Bananas, some nuttiness, and a little clove. None of which are too overbearing or take away from the dish.The dry finish of this Weizenbock begs my palate to add more gnocchi. Dumplings and a German Weizenbock? A no-brainer.
